Pasadena Weekly writer noted that Vista del Arroyo’s historic bungalows—while refurbished with modern amenities—“resonate with past moments” and “have many stories to tell.”

Vista del Arroyo includes eight restored bungalows, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as three new courtyard buildings with 30 residential units. The project is located in the City of Pasadena, about 10 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Originally built in the 1920s and 1930s, the bungalows had been neglected and vandalized for 30 years, but were restored in 2007 to 2008. Parking is provided in three new subterranean garages. The site has views of the Colorado Street Bridge, a historic concrete arch bridge; the Arroyo Seco, a riverbed canyon; and the San Gabriel Mountains.
