Pismo Beach is a City of approximately 8,000 residents on California’s Central Coast between Los Angeles and San Francisco. 331 Wadsworth Avenue is proposed to occupy most of a city block, and will include two-story mixed-use commercial buildings along one side of the block and two- and three-story residential buildings along the other three sides. Forty-five for-sale residential units are proposed, as well as six live-work lofts, with resident parking provided in a subterranean garage. The buildings are organized around four courtyards that provide common outdoor space for residents. According to the project architect, “With cottage-style residential buildings and Spanish and maritime commercial structures, 331 Wadsworth respects the context of Pismo Beach through its style, building type, and scale.”
